I hope you don't mind if I hijack your comment box for a minute to ask for prayers for those who lost their lives in an Omaha shopping mall Wednesday. There are 9 people dead, including 8 victims and a gunman who killed himself after shooting the others. He was a troubled young man who apparently went off the deep end. There are also 2 people wounded, in critical condition, we pray for their survival. The mood in Nebraska is pretty somber. Just about all of us have friends and family in Omaha, even if we live "outstate". This is the largest mass murder in our state's history. We wish we could go back to being the boring place where the hottest topic was the UNL football program.
