For those who don't know, the 'Ironman' is the toughest triathlon.

The race encompasses
three endurance events:
- a 2.4 mile (3.86 kilometer) ocean swim, followed by

- a 112 mile (180.2 kilometer) bike ride followed by
- a 26.2 mile (42.195 kilo
meter) marathon.

This father and son completed the race together.
Our heavenly Father carries us the same way
... everyday.

My mom, brother, nephew, and nieces were cheering the runners on at the Boston Marathon earlier this year. They saw team Hoyt! When team Hoyt was passing them, they cheered even louder. What an amazing family! What a blessing and an inspiration!

I'm not into Starbucks latter-day hippie, green-conscious image of themselves. But they make one heck of an Americano. And I always recycle the cup--well, not really, I throw it in the trash after it rides around in my car for a few days.
